Controversial Pennsylvania Voting Machines Just Got Decertified

Pennsylvania elections officials confirmed the voting machines in Fulton County after Republican lawmakers demanded they be audited following the state’s controversial handling of the 2020 election.
Acting Secretary of State Veronica Degraffenreid said in a letter on Tuesday that after a software company called Wake TSI reviewed the Dominion machines at the request of the government officials involved. election integrity, they will have to retire.
The company was contracted at the request of Republican State Senator Doug Mastriano and from Fulton County election officials, Hill reported.
Wake TSI reportedly inspected the machines, looking at each machine’s “election database, results files, and Windows system logs.”
Fulton County has also asked Wake TSI to use a “system imaging tool to capture full hard drive images of these computers” and also to have a “complete image of two USB drives” used to transfer connections. election results.
Degraffenreid complains that testing the machines is “not transparent or bipartisan.”
The acting secretary of state also said the machines had been compromised, such as Dominant voting system and elections officials were unable to “verify that the affected components of Fulton County’s rental voting system are safe for use in future elections.”
“I have no choice but to endorse the Fulton County rental Dominion Democracy Suite 5.5A voting system last used in the November 2020 election,” she said.
For future elections, Fulton County will lease or purchase new machinery, The Hill reported.
Do you think Pennsylvania Democrats fear a full audit?
Wake TSI is the same company contracted to audit Maricopa County, Arizona, 2020 election results.
chairperson Donald Trump and several state officials have said that Pennsylvania was home to major voter fraud before, during, and after the November election.
Mastriano tried to ask other counties to test their machines, but the counties refused that request for fear their machines would be de-certified by the state, as those in Fulton did. WCAU-TV reported.
After the three Pennsylvania legislators toured the Arizona audit, the Democratic Governor of Pennsylvania. Tom Wolf called it “an attempt to discredit our elections” as well as “an insult to our county elections officials and Pennsylvania voters.” Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
Trump has called for a comprehensive forensic examination in the commonwealth, which is unlikely.
Last month Mastriano showed a willingness to compromise.
“I’m a bit confused that someone has sided with us, not even leaving open the idea of an audit,” Mastriano announced in June, the Post-Gazette reported. “I don’t know how we can get through it, but people absolutely want a test.”
“I think only one or two counties will do it. My preference would be to be a Democratic and Republican county and let the chips fall where they can,” Mastriano said.
