Contacts Sync APK (requires ROOT) 2.55 (Android App)

Use root privileges to sync your address book with high quality contact photos.
This way, during calls and inside the address book app, you can see who you’re talking to!

This is almost completely automatic, and you can choose which contacts to avoid syncing.

Disclaimer:
The app does what you can anyway: get photos from folders accessible via the root folder and then set each folder to person in the address book, just like on any management app. which file manager (potentially root).
