Congress trying to replace ‘failed’ Chief Minister with Sidhu who is known more for ‘theatrics’, says SAD chief Badal

Ministers Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu faced different issues. Sidhu was appointed president of the Punjab Congress on Sunday evening.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal said everyone knows Sidhu’s achievements as a local agency minister during the course of his “doing nothing” to improve the condition of any town or city in the state.
Now Parliament is trying to create another “drama” by replacing its “failed” chief with former minister Sidhu, who is better known for his “stage” rather than administrative roles. , Badal said in a statement here.
He alleged that the Parliamentary government not only pursued a policy of “divide and rule” but was also led by the “worst” chief minister in Punjab’s history.
The AAP’s Punjab unit commander Bhagwant Mann said the feud in Parliament over just one post had caused a huge “disagreement” for Punjab, Punjabis and ‘Punjabiyat‘.
Mann said in a statement here that Congress will now “pay with interest” in the upcoming congressional elections.
MP Sangrur said the only agenda for all Parliament leaders was to take seats.
“Someone is fighting to save the chair and someone else is trying to grab that chair,” he said.
Mann said Punjabis were determined to “teach a lesson” to Parliament in the 2022 parliamentary poll.
