How to play Nerdle
Nerdle is completely free to play and requires an active internet connection and a device with a web browser. To play, go to www.nerdlegame.com and you go.
The rules of Nerdle are simple, players have a total of six times to find a new equation each day. There’s a total of 8 numbers and symbols that must form a mathematically correct calculation, so you can’t just type in a bunch of numbers/symbols and hope for the best. The answer will always include an “=” sign before the answer to the equation.
When a player guesses a number/symbol correctly, it turns green. However, if you guessed a number/symbol correctly but in the wrong place, it will turn purple to let you know that you are close.
Nerdle was created by Richard Mann, a British data scientist was discussing Wordle fever with his daughter when the two decided there should be a version for those who love numbers. And the rest is history!
