This feature essentially shows projectiles going in random directions no matter how well the player aims, and many fans feel this RNG style doesn’t belong in the franchise. One of the weapons most affected by the bloom is the AS44, as this weapon’s accuracy is very low during the first few weeks of the game’s life. Fortunately, Sledgehammer heard the complaints, adjusting to the impact of Call of Duty: Vanguardblooming for all guns.
After changes to development, AS44 has gone from useless to usable and players can now expect to hit their target if they have an Assault Rifle equipped with attachments exactly. Fortunately, unlocking those attachments shouldn’t take too long, as one of the Call of Duty: VanguardOperator consider the AS44 as their favorite weapon. With this setup, the AS44 goes from the least accurate Assault Rifle to an absolute laser, proving that even the most average gun can serve a purpose.
