Company of Heroes 3 Trailer details the features of the game
A new trailer for Relic Entertainment’s upcoming game, Company of Heros 3, highlights all of the factions and game modes in the WWII game.
Back in 2006, the first Company of Heroes Game was released and blew away strategy players. The game reportedly sold well for the publisher and ended up winning multiple Game of the Year awards for the RTS genre. Seven years later, Relic Entertainment released a sequel, Company of Heroes 2, which unfortunately received a more mixed response from players and critics. Now the third Company of Heroes The game is set for release later this year and publisher Sega is making sure players know what they’re getting into.
Company of Heroes 3 was originally announced in Summer 2021, with the first trailer showing off the new features. Publisher Sega would below reveal the game’s new campaign and what new features would be available to the player. While previous games were mainly set in a World War II area, Company of Heroes 3 will take place in North Africa and Italy. A new trailer has now been released, highlighting all of the game’s features in a beautiful and condensed two-minute YouTube video.

The United States armed forces are characterized as aggressive and adaptable, while the German Wehrmacht faction is characterized as defensive and intimidating. British forces are considered versatile and resilient, while the German Afrika Korps is mechanized and mobile. The North Africa campaign aims to be a classic single player experience, similar to the previous games, while the Italian campaign is more of a one Total war-style campaign. It also highlights the new mission types, multiplayer, destruction, and gameplay mechanics.
The first Company of Heroes The game is often listed as one of the best WWII games of all time. At the time, the mechanic was innovative and unlike anything players had ever seen. Unfortunately, the decade 2010 wasn’t the best for RTS games and the priorities for many publishers have shifted elsewhere. Now, however, publishers seem poised to give the genre another try.
Earlier this year, THQ Nordic unveiled a new game called Rising Storm along with new looks at several previously announced RTS games. 2021 also saw the release of Age of Empires IV after the franchise had been dormant for 14 years. Well the CCompany of Heroes series seems poised to reemerge and delight players anew with its WWII setting and mechanics. Whether reception will be better or worse than previous installments remains to be seen.
Company of Heroes 3 is currently scheduled for release on November 17, 2022 for PC.
