Comic anthology ‘Moon Knight’ to release in April

Moonlight Knight

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans are ready to get their first taste of the comic book character Moonlight Knight thanks to the popular Disney+ series launching in late March. However, Marvel won’t finish providing fans with character-centric content after that. First reported by GamesRadar, Marvel will release a new franchise Moonlight Knight anthology that runs in April is called Moon Knight: Black, White and Blood.

According to the report, this new run will have four issues with the first set coming out in April. The release is set to examine the dark side of First of Khonshu – and his potential new replacement.

As an anthology, this four-volume volume will include short stories by a variety of writers and artists including Jonathan Hickman with Chris Bachalo, Marc Guggenheim with Jorge Fornés and Murewa Ayodele with Dotun Akanda.

While fans will be familiar with Marc Spector from the Disney+ series, in Hickman’s story a new Moon Knight will be introduced from a distant future. People familiar with the characters in the sequel Moonlight Knight comics should come as no surprise as many have taken on the character’s role over the years.

This anthology will stick to Marvel’s recent striking black and white visual theme, seen in the previously released Deadpool, Wolverine, Carnage, and Elektra versions.

Moon Knight: Black, White and Blood will premiere in April, and fans can get to know the character in advance by checking out the Disney+ series that premieres on March 30.
