Covid-19 still plays an active role in many of the everyday choices ordinary Americans make, and healthcare providers are concerned that people are not being cautious with the newly launched omicron variant. . Health professionals are concerned about omicrons because this variant can evade most vaccine protections, which is why boosting them with boosters is recommended. To help people understand how booster injections can help protect them from omicrons, the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health made a video to help explain it. Mario Kart 8. The video is well edited, showing Mario racing in the game known as “Covid Cup”, when the omicron appears as an item aimed at him. Using a ramp marked “enhanced”, Mario escapes.
The PSA video featuring the plumber comes with a link to an article by the School of Public Health itself that details more on why booster shots are important, as well as a helpful and quick way to back up his statements. The university went on to say that the fact that boosters help protect people against the new variant is “Super like Mariobut less likely doesn’t mean [infection is] Impossible.”
Fans have given the video mixed reception in the comments. Some fans are letting the University know that the jokes in the video are not funny at all, calling the video funny, while others are pointing out that the video is clearly fun for the editor to make. Regardless of how fans shot the video, it’s clear the school took the time to present the message in a fun way.
