College football rankings, grades: Georgia, Cincinnati get ‘A+’ report cards as Florida, Notre Dame fail

One other wild, wild week of school soccer concluded Saturday with 5 of the highest 12 and 6 of the highest 15 groups within the nation shedding, together with No. 3 Oregon, No. 8 Arkansas, No. 9 Notre Dame, No. 10 Florida, No. 12 Ole Miss and No. 15 Texas A&M. Evidently, the race for the nationwide title has thinned.

In the meantime, No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Georgia made large statements and separated themselves from the remainder of the pack.

There are some longshot contenders that drastically modified their title hopes. Texas A&M’s hopes are dashed, Clemson did not acquire any model factors, and the probability of Florida digging out of its two-loss gap is just about non-existent. Oregon fell as the ultimate Pac-12 unbeaten, and it might have taken the convention’s College Football Playoff probabilities with it.
