College football fixtures, 2021 matches: What to watch in Week 14, TV channels, Saturday kickoff time

Two full days of congress title games await as Championship Week in college football arrives. Some of these games will provide not only pride but the closing argument for the teams competing for the College Football Qualifiers. No. 1 Georgia and the number 3 Alabama will end in one of the most anticipated SEC Championship Games of all time. Georgia is essentially a padlock for the CFP, but Alabama needs a win to get in and go into the post-season with confidence.

No. 2 Michigan is in the Big Ten Championship Game for the first time and won by 13th place Iowa will punch Jim Harbaugh a ticket to the CFP – something that has eluded him since taking over the show.

It will be busy College football weekend. Here’s a viewer’s guide to help you navigate through the action.

Big games

5 Oklahoma State compared to the number 9 Baylor (in Arlington, Texas) – noon on ABC: The Cowboys won Bedlam last week thanks to a second-half defensive performance from the ages, and are looking for another signature win and other style point to show off to the CFP selection committee. Midfielder Spencer Sanders Had a great day last week, but it will be tougher here against the Bears’ resilient defence.

1 Georgia vs 3 Alabama (in Atlanta) – 4pm on CBS: The Bulldog defense was one of the best in a generation, and that was the last act until post-season was against an Alabama team that was inconsistent throughout the season. Meanwhile, Crimson Tide . midfielder Bryce Young could lock the Heisman Trophy on Saturday afternoon if he has a big game.

Number 21 Houston in 4th place Cincinnati – 4 p.m. on ABC: The Bearcats are currently in the CFP spot, but many other teams including Oklahoma State and Notre Dame are on their heels. Houston won 11 games in a row and made it to the quarterfinals Clayton Tune has stabilized in a nice way. It will be a big day at Nippert Stadium in the biggest Group 5 game of the CFP era.

#2 Michigan vs. Number 13 Iowa (in Indianapolis) – 8 p.m. on Fox: The Wolverines’ rampage due to Hassan Haskins Ohio State was burned and confused last weekend, but this week’s challenge will be much different for the defense-led Hawkeyes. These are uncharted waters for Jim Harbaugh’s crew, so it will be interesting to see if there’s a hangover after the win over the Buckeyes. If it does, it can dramatically change the CFP picture.

Other big games

No. 10 Oregon compared to the number 17 Utah (in Las Vegas) – Friday, 8 p.m. on ABC: Utah knocked Oregon out of the CFP race on November 20, so revenge will be on the minds of coach Mario Cristobal and the Ducks Friday night in Sin City. Both of these teams are trying to dominate the front and that’s what this team will achieve on Friday night

15 Pittsburgh compared to the number 16 Wake Forest (in Charlotte) – 8pm on ABC: Get your popcorn ready for the quarter-final match between the stars of the Panthers Kenny Pickett and signal caller of Demon Deacons Sam Hartman will lead to many points. Furthermore, it could be a knockout of the Heisman Trophy for the midfielders.
