Looks like Netflix has done it again, as the latest season of Cobra Kai debuted on the streaming platform on Friday, and it was not well received by critics and viewers alike. 2021 begins with Cobra Kai season three, the first run of karate boy spinoff will air on Netflix after being acquired by YouTube. It instantly turned the show into a global phenomenon.
Season four, which ends in 2021, promises not only continued hype but also quality.
With season four now available to watch, its Rotten Tomatoes score has been revealed – and it’s 100% perfect. Based on 25 reviews, Cobra KaiThe latest installment of the series is standing at a perfect score of critics on the review aggregator website. While the audience score isn’t perfect, it’s close enough, with 92% of users loving it as of time of writing, on the back of 39 ratings.
This officially makes it the highest rated season since Cobra Kai started. Likewise, season one sports 100% on RT, with audiences liking the part a bit more by giving it a 95% bonus. Meanwhile, seasons two and three – while still highly regarded – both scored 90% of critics, with audiences for the second part at 91% and the third at 90%.
This makes it the most successful Netflix original series since the animated series Arcane landed in early November, as the video game adaptation is also doing pretty well at 100% on RT. CK season four is definitely more popular with reviewers and viewers than The Witcher season 2, with 81% critics and 76% points. And it’s better in the world than the recent failure Cowboy Bebop, officially rotten at 47%.
