Cleveland Metropolitan School District uniforms dress code

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – The Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD) is making huge modifications for the 2021-22 college yr.

College students will not put on uniforms.

That was the results of suggestions from dad and mom and college students.

Superintendent and CEO Eric Gordon says they needed to “develop a brand new, extra inclusive set of gown expectations.”

The brand new gown code was designed to help college students in growing a body-positive self-image, Gordon says.

”The district’s new commonplace gown and look coverage can also be meant to be gender-neutral and applies to all college students equally, no matter gender, whereas on college campuses and at school-sponsored features.”

College students usually are not allowed to put on any clothes that reveals undergarments or doesn’t totally cowl their buttocks or torso.

Clothes or equipment which present profanity, violence, or medication usually are not arrowed.
