‘Classless Act’ – CBS Chicago

CHICAGO (CBS)- With the MLB Commerce Deadline simply two weeks away and the Cubs sitting eight video games out of first place within the N.L. Central and seven.5 again of a Wild Card spot, the rumors have begun about which gamers the staff could look to maneuver. Third baseman Kris Bryant is on the forefront of that checklist contemplating that he’s a free agent after this season and talks of an extension haven’t progressed.
That led to some questions for Bryant previous to Tuesday night time’s All-Star sport to which the 29-year-old instructed reporters that it’s “up within the air.” The query was requested once more throughout the sport itself when announcer Joe Buck requested Bryant concerning the rumors throughout a mic’d up section.

That query drew ire from Bryant’s father Mike who instructed Cubs Insider that it was a “classless act”.
“I merely can not specific my disappointment at Joe Buck asking my son about his future with the Cubs whereas he was enjoying left area within the All-Star Recreation,” Mike Bryant instructed Cubs Insider. “This was a classless act and has no place within the sport. I’m so glad I used to be on the sport and never watching it.”
Bryant for his half, fielded the query deftly, saying that he’s proud to play for Chicago and “till they inform me I’m not, I’ll go on the market and provides all of it I’ve acquired.”
