Chris Tucker Allegedly Owns IRS Over $9.6 Million In New Lawsuit

Chris Tucker recently found myself in some hot water with the IRS!

According to the report, Chris Tucker was slapped with a multi-million dollar lawsuit. NS Peak the actor was specifically sued by the IRS for more than $9.6 million in tax returns — including penalties and interest. The agency alleges:

“Despite the notice and demand for payment of the above reviews, Mr. Tucker ignored, refused, or failed to fully pay for the reviews against him.”

In court documents, the IRS said that Chris Tucker have a long history of not reporting or paying taxes in full. Back in 2002, the actor allegedly owed about $4.6 million but only reported and paid about half of it. In 2006, he was said to have only paid $1.18 million in taxes when he actually owed $2.18 million. There were similar accusations in the years that followed.

The IRS says all things considered Chris Tucker agency debt $9,684,452.07. However, this total amount may increase due to interest, it should be noted that

“As of the assessment date described above, interest, penalties, and statutory supplements have accrued and will continue to accrue as required by law.”

Chris Tucker did not publicly address the issue.

The news comes about three and a half years after the 50-year-old star was listed by the California State Franchise Tax Commission for Top 500 delinquent taxpayers. At the time, it was reported that Chris Tucker owed $1,221,275.80 in unpaid taxes (before 2017).
