Chris Evans joins Dwayne Johnson in Amazon holiday action movie ‘Red One’

Chris Evans and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are collaborating on a holiday action series with Amazon. News that Evans would be joining the project broke on Monday, with Johnson signed on as a star and producer.

The movie is titled One red, described in a press release as “a quadruple action-adventure comedy that trots across the globe, imagining a whole new universe to explore in the holiday genre”. Plot details beyond that curious, somewhat abstract synopsis have yet to be revealed.

The idea behind One red from Hiram Garcia, executive producer of Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions. The script will be written by Chris Morgan, who has previously collaborated with Johnson and Seven Bucks Productions on Fast and furious movie. Jake Kasdan, who worked with Johnson on Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, was exploited for direction.
