Chicago police searching for man wanted in 7-year-old girl’s sexual assault near 102nd, Indiana in Roseland

CHICAGO (WLS) – Chicago police are hunting for the man who allegedly sexually assaulted a child on the remote South Side early Thursday morning.

The 7-year-old girl was sleeping in her home around 3 a.m. near 102nd Street and Indiana Avenue in Roseland when police said the attacker broke into her bedroom window and assaulted her.

The man had left when the girl’s father discovered him, the CPD said. He was last seen in the alley on 102nd Street between Forest Avenue and Prairie.

The suspect is described as about 6 meters tall, muscular and has short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
