Chicago CTA worker stabbed at Loop Red Line station after woman accidentally sprayed with water: CPD

CHICAGO (WLS) — A CTA worker was stabbed at a Loop Pink Line station Wednesday evening, Chicago police stated.
The stabbing occurred on the State and Lake station at about 10:44 p.m. Police stated a 49-year-old CTA worker was washing a platform
when he by chance sprayed water on a lady.
The lady grew to become upset and approached the worker earlier than stabbing him, police stated.
The worker was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in honest situation.
Police stated the girl was taken into custody on the scene. Space Three detectives are investigating and expenses are pending.
