Chicago Auto Show 2021 continues Saturday at McCormick Place with tickets available online

CHICAGO (WLS) – It’s day three of the Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place on Saturday.

If you’re looking for a new car, test drives at the Chicago Auto Show are a great way to compare without the pressure of buying.

“They can start here on Indiana Avenue, go to Michigan Ave and around, but learn about the transportation,” said Chicago Auto Show PR director Jennifer Morand. “There’s a product specialist who will sit next to you and they can help explain the technology, safety features and all the benefits of all-new cars.”

Dozens of vehicles are available to drive, including the Ford Bronco Sport. And it’s super simple to sign up!

“They can check-in inside at McCormick Place in the West building with the manufacturer, so if they want to jump in a brand new Chevy, like a tour of the Chevrolet indoor showroom, they can. book first and then when they’re ready to go out and do that test drive,” Morand said.

Remember that the test track is not the same as the test track where professional drivers are in charge of the Bronco Wild Experience!

Built specifically for the show, it takes you through water rallies and side corners to Mount Bronco, which is nearly 20 feet high with a 38-degree angle on the way down. Definitely one of the biggest attractions at the show!

“The really great thing about the inside of this pickup truck is that you get the big captain seats,” said Jennifer Newman of Cars.com. “Very comfortable, the pillow is really very comfortable.”

Automakers are experiencing a nationwide shortage of computer chips, and dealers can be a bit sparse on inventory, so seeing your next new car *here* might be possible. is your only option.
