‘Cheaper of Dozen’ Trailer: Zach Braff and Alliance Star Gabrielle In Another Unnecessary Remake

Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union have a full house in Disney + trailer Cheaper than a dozen redo. The Familiar Story follows Braff and Union as Paul and Zoey Baker, a married couple with a mixed family of 12: five children from Paul’s previous relationship and five from Zoey’s. Understood? A dozen bakers? (Though technically that means 13 family members, so the pun gets split a bit there.)

The movie’s trailer shows Braff and Union scrambling to get their rowdy clan ready for school, chasing kids as they ride scooters through the house and overseeing TikTok dance sessions. “We are not a cult, but we are strange. We are one in all ways,” the two narrate footage of their misdeeds.

Just like the previous installments of the story, all the jokes revolve around the chaos of parenting, with different versions of the same “too many kids!” story! suddenly. It also looks to be essentially an exact clone of the 2003 version of the movie starring Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt, but with the added menace of Instagram.
