The Rugby League Betfred Challenge Cup concludes on Saturday 28th May when the Huddersfield Giants take on the Wigan Warriors in the final of the competition.
The game will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with kick-off at 15:00CET.
The competition has a knockout competition format and has been held annually since 1896.
The current holder of the cup is St Helens, coming in at their 13thth Competitive success last year when he defeated Castleford at Wembley Stadium.
Who has won the most Challenge Cup tournaments?
The Wigan Warriors are the most successful side in the history of the competition, having lifted the trophy a record 19 times. The Cherry and Whites are also the most runners-up, 13 times.
The Warriors have not won the prestigious trophy since 2013 and were last in a final in 2017. Wigan will try to improve their tally to 20 wins this Saturday.
Leeds have won the title 14 times, making them the second most successful club in the tournament’s long history.
St Helens are just one down on the Rhinos (13) in last year’s win and had 10 previous hurdle failures.
Huddersfield are in the final for the first time in 13 years. The Giants haven’t won the cup since 1953. In the club’s 158-year history, there have been 10 final defeats.
Since its inception, there have been 27 different winners of the competition.
