Caraway cooking set review

Scouting report: If you want non-stick cookware without chemicals, Caway cookware is what you dreamed of.
For two decades, my mother’s kitchen cabinets were filled with trashed Teflon pots and pans, the poison seeping into her food and driving me crazy every time I had to cook with them. Not only am I worried about chemicals seeping from the Teflon coating on our food (especially when the coating starts to peel or scratch the food – that’s bad!) but the pan itself cooks unevenly and poorly effective.
Since I prepared most of the meals for her now, I upgraded her cooking utensils to a new one. Caraway cookware set, are currently 20% off their annual sale. These ceramic-coated aluminum pots and pans promise lifelong non-stick, so since my mom likes to keep her cookware for several decades, they seemed perfect to her.
Not just Caraway’s Cooking Utensils nonstick and absolutely beautiful (I sometimes leave them on the stove instead of throwing them away just because they’re so pretty), but they also cook very, really, well. Compared to Teflon, the mineral-based coating provides superior heat conduction and it is more flexible than cast iron and stainless steel pots. My wooden spoon slid smoothly across the pan as I sautéed the kale and sweet potatoes while my silicone spatula easily scooped up the quinoa, all in all without clumping at the bottom of the pan like a large Frisbee.
Caraway known for its pan rack from genius that keeps pans upright on a gorgeous display on a countertop or out of view inside a cabinet. While I love the magnetic holder (and the smart lid organizer that sucks the cups into the back of the cabinet door), I appreciate the clever design features in the lids.
The lid easily locks onto the pot/pan while a small hole in the lid allows steam to escape. The large, wide handle makes it easy to hold and keeps it cool to hold. On the other hand, the lids heat up on their own so when I put the lid on the counter while stirring the food, I usually use Caraway tray to pick it up again. Sure, you can put the lid’s handle on it to get around this but I don’t want to wipe the food off the counter later so I’ll continue with my pothole treatment, thank you very much!
When it comes to cleaning these bad boys, be aware that beautiful porcelain cookware like these have no place in the dishwasher. Dishwashers, like steel wool scrubbers can damage the coating, but don’t worry, the smooth non-stick coating keeps food from sticking and hardening on the pan so they’re easy to clean with just a rag and water. soap.
So, if you’re a fan of great non-stick cookware that cooks evenly and is easy to clean, Caraway cookware set is perfect.
