Cara Delevingne joins season 2 that only includes murders in buildings
Cara Delevingne will play an art collector drawn to the mystery at the heart of Hulu’s Only Murders in Building Season 2.
Cara Delevingne will join the all-star cast on Hulu original program, There are only murders in the building. The British actor will join the show as a series regular in Season 2 and will reappear stars Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short.
There are only murders in the building debut on Hulu earlier this year and was almost immediately a fan favorite. The show focuses on Gomez’s Mabel Mora, Martin’s Charles Haden-Savage and Short’s Oliver Putnam. The trio come together when the building has to be evacuated and they end up taking shelter in the same restaurant, where they learn they’re listening to the same crime podcast. In the end, three new friends decided to create their own podcast, titled There are only murders in the building revolves around a murder they discover in their apartment building.
Based on Collider, Delevingne joins the trilogy in Season 2 of the Hulu show as Alice, a delicate art-world person caught up in the mystery at the heart of the show. Also, not much is known about the character yet, but it seems like it’s a safe bet that she’ll have something to hide while also helping the trio solve the mystery.
That was definitely the case with the show’s first season when it comes to Selena Gomez’s Mabel. In fact, she has a number of different reasons as to why she lives in the building and what she knows about the death that she and her two friends set out to investigate. The entanglements may be similar when it comes to Delevingne’s Alice.
Like Selena Gomez, the new addition to the cast helped her start working in the entertainment industry outside of acting. Cara Delevingne has been working as a fashion model since 2002 and has appeared in several major fashion shows such as New York Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week.
Delevingne officially turned to acting in 2012, and she’s appeared in a number of other shows and movies since. The actor has appeared in movies and TV shows of all different genres including science fiction. Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and DCEU as part of 2016 Suicide Squad. She is also the leader in Amazon’s Carnival Row, was scheduled to begin filming Season 2 last year, but that was delayed due to the pandemic.
There are only murders in the building Season 2 will premiere on Hulu in 2022.
