Canon EOS M50 Mark II Review 2022

While I have always appreciated capturing and capturing life’s moments, I have never been a great photographer. Trying as hard as I can, the only camera I’ve run successfully in my life is my decades old camera Polaroid camerahonestly, not exactly a camera that will get me very far in today’s digital world.

For a long time, I accepted my fate as a bad photographer. If people ask me to take pictures on their phones at a wedding, party, or happy hour, I politely suggest they ask the other person if they’d like to be pleased with their image. I simply avoid being a photographer at all costs.

Recently, however, I’ve begun to realize how much I hold myself back from trying to at least find a professional camera that I can call my own — one that can capture life’s beautiful everyday moments, milestones and maybe even improve my sad social media presence. And I will honestly admit that I have some huge envy when I look at the amazing photo these influencers and content creators are showing the world every day.

Canon EOS M50 Mark II + EF-M 15-45mm is STM Kit Black

This is perfect professional-grade DSLR camera Beginner’s kit for photography. This bundle comes with everything you need to get started, including a camera strap, camera strap, and charger.

When I reached out to a number of professional photographers and asked them what was the best beginner-friendly camera for someone with no clue how to operate the camera — let alone take pictures — One brand that keeps popping up time and time again is Canon. And one particular model that continues to be recommended to me is EOS M50 Mark II DSLR Camera. After doing some research online and reading great reviews of the camera, I decided to give it a try.

A little bit about this camera to start: this camera Super light, small and easy to transport. I’ve always thought that pro-grade cameras were bound to be bulky, heavy, bulky, and come with an awful number of lenses, but this is something you can take with you wherever you go, whether you’re on the go. bring along. wallet for the day or pack for weekend travel.

It’s also packed with 24.1 megapixels, if you’re like me, that probably doesn’t make much sense, but to put it simply, this camera has the power and design to take some photos and videos. amazingly high resolution. It also has the DIGIC 8 Image Processor—again, the term is lost on me—but this feature makes your images super sharp and super detailed—without unwanted blur and grain .

I toyed with EOS M50 Mark IIsettings for about ten minutes before I mastered how to take some very basic shots with the different shooting modes (nine in total.) I immediately appreciated the articulated touchscreen display. side-by-side — something I had never seen or used a camera for before, but this feature guided me through many choices and decisions to turn my otherwise bland pictures into some great photos that I’m happy to capture and share.

In terms of settings, beginners should lean towards auto mode — a great setting for first-time users that basically lets the camera do all the work for you (i.e. choose ISO, aperture, etc.). degrees, etc.) while you take the picture. But there are also other useful shooting modes, such as “special scene” where you can choose the type of item you are shooting, such as sports, food, landscape, close-up, self-portrait , etc. There are also “creative filters” where you can apply small details like soft focus, watercolor effects and more.

One thing I really appreciate about EOS M50 Mark II is how obvious the autofocus is. I have two kids, both under the age of three, so trying to wrap them up for a photo shoot is a pain and often quite humbling. But no matter how much movement is involved, autofocus on EOS M50 Mark II captured quality images that I could never get with my iPhone camera. I also love that the camera has WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities and that I can use Canon Camera Connect App to access my photos immediately after taking them on my camera.

I wish I could say that I have become a confident, knowledgeable photographer with all my efforts, but all credit in this case is due to EOS M50 Mark II’professional design and quality, Long gone from the grainy, blurry, sad images I took hundreds of times before, and instead the final photos I’m proud to post and share with everyone.
