MILAN – Canali is stepping up efforts to provide suits and formal wear that their customers can feel comfortable in, noting that sartorial apparel should transform and innovate to stay in sync with the modern consumer.
The luxury Italian men’s company is introducing a textile collection and innovation aimed at the growing demand for comfortable fashion.
Is called Canali Balanced, the collection builds on the 2015 “Impeccable” line, a line of accessories and accessories that boasts stainless, wrinkle-free and breathable features.
The new iteration takes it to the next level, as the suit, outerwear, vest and raincoat are handcrafted from high technology. document treated with bio-ceramics to give clothes the ability to reflect the heat that the human body naturally produces, thus keeping warm and beneficial for a number of bodily functions, helping the body reduce stress. The company notes that a balanced lifestyle further amplifies the garment’s ethos.
Stefano Canali, chief executive officer of the company, said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of Canali Balance. “It heralds the future and explores a new vision of menswear. This clothing line affirms that Canali is a brand with an artistic soul, able to add value to tradition by interpreting it through a contemporary lens and constantly innovating. ”
The menswear company has developed a logo exclusively for the items in the collection, a nodding stylized “A” representing the energy emanating from the body and reflected by the fabric. This will also appear in the window of the brand’s flagships that will carry the collection.
Set to launch in the fall at some of Canali’s flagships, as well as on the brand’s e-commerce, the collection retails from 590 euros for the vest and 1,950 euros for the jacket.
Canali said it plans to expand its use of high-tech fabrics to other types and products. It will also distribute the Balance collection through select retailers in the future.
The innovation is not new to the fashion world, but Canali’s project marks the first time such treatment has been applied to formal wear. Italian supplier, including Eurojersey, which has launched similar technologies over the past few years, and the sportswear company AlphaTauri, which is owned by Red Bull, has been using a similar fabric for its performance-oriented garments.
