Canadian among 17 Christian Aid Ministries workers abducted in Haiti, officials say – National

A Canadian citizen is amongst 17 Christian Help Ministries missionaries who’ve been kidnapped in Haiti, officers mentioned on Sunday.

The group, which additionally consists of 16 U.S residents, consists of 5 males, seven ladies, and 5 kids, Christian Aid Ministries confirmed in a statement online.

Haitian police inspector Frantz Champagne instructed The Related Press that the 400 Mawozo gang kidnapped the group — which additionally included some aged folks — in Ganthier, a commune that lies east of the capital of Port-au-Prince.
