Can Optimus Prime save us from the Omicron variant? Internet thinks so

The new Omicron COVID-19 variant is an unwanted topic on people’s minds this Thanksgiving, but creative social media users have dismissed it via meme.
First, Futurama noticed a spike in interest after people remembered a group of evil aliens known as the Omicronians on the show. That leads to the whole series of articles about variation and how the program predicts the future.
Now, another cartoon character is trending this version. This time it’s Optimus Prime, the leader of a cyborg race of warriors known as Transformers.
One user broke some of the confusion of similar-sounding names in Transformers The universe. However, it’s easy to see people getting confused between Omicron and Unicron.
โHmm, saw some confusion about this. Unicron is the planet-sized Transformer voiced by Orson Welles in the 1986 Transformers movie, and Galvatron is the name of Megatron’s second form after he was killed by Optimus Prime. He is voiced by Leonard Nimoy. I hope this helps,โ user tweeted.
Let’s take a look at some other gems.
The latest COVID-19 variant is named after the 15th letter of the Greek alphabet. Alpha and delta variations have appeared.
Transformers started as a hugely successful line of cartoons and toys in the 80’s. In 1986, a movie called The Transformers: The Movie continued to solidify the franchise in children’s minds, and it got another boost in the 2000s when Michael Bay made live-action movies about these characters.
