Camila Cabello Teases “Don’t Go Yet”, Her First Single in Almost Two Years

This week Camila Cabello is about to release “Don’t Go Yet,” her first new musical in nearly two years.

Cabello previously posted the single artwork last week, but she updated her social media with teasers from what appeared to be stills from a music video.

‘Don’t Go Yet’ is out this Friday (July 23) and can be pre-saved here. See the trailers below.

“Don’t Go Yet” will be Cabello’s first single since she dropped out of her second studio album “Romance” in late 2019. It’s currently unclear whether “Don’t Go Yet” will make an appearance. in a larger project.

The day “Don’t Go Yet” comes out, Cabello will perform the song on Tonight’s Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

In NME‘S three-star review of ‘Romance’, Hannah Mylrea writes that Cabello is “overwhelmingly capable of making horribly loud pop tunes, but in “Romance” she tries to expand her palette into more textured ballads.

“She feels more comfortable in the old territory, but this is an artist who is unafraid to explore terrain that, for her, is less known.”

Despite not releasing music for almost two years, Cabello keeps herself busy, as she prepares her film debut as the main character princess of Cinderella, appearing on Amazon Prime Video in September.

Cabello will debut the original soundtrack in the film and star alongside Idina Menzel, Billy Porter, Pierce Brosnan, Missy Elliott and more.

Cabello is also one of many artists set to broadcast Global Citizen Live this September, will also watch performances from Buttercream cute, Lorde, BTS, Weekend, Lizzo, Ed Sheeran, Metallica and more.
