Call of Duty: Vanguard: How to fix ‘Dev Error 5573’

Call of Duty: Vanguard players are getting annoying error messages in multiplayer menu. After trying to implement visual customizations – equipping Operator Interface elements, Icons and Calling Cards – the game may hang to the desktop/console home screen. In doing so, the player will receive a CoD: Vanguard message “Dev Error 5573”. Is there a quick, easy, and best spot fix? This is the latest solution to developer error 5573 for users on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Series S, Xbox One and PC.
Call of Duty: Vanguard “Dev Error 5573” fix

- This bug is likely to receive a patch or hot fix soon, so stay tuned for updates.
Fortunately, this bug is not a game-breaking bug. Players will still be able to access all of Call of Duty: Vanguard’s modes and maps, just needing to refill the base cosmetics in place. While that still disappoints many, hopefully it won’t take long for Sledgehammer Games and Activision to roll out a solution.
While the dev team is almost certainly aware of this issue, due to its popularity, contacting Support Activision can help carry out the repair. The more (respectful) users make about a problem, the higher priority the solution usually becomes. With the issue affecting users on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, it’s a fairly common bug.
At the end of the day, glitching CoD: Vanguard cosmetics isn’t good for publishers and developers’ profits either. Activision wants gamers to spend money on in-game cosmetics, which they are unlikely to do if they negatively affect the experience.
