Once they reached level 48, CoD: Vanguard players can use the Dead Drop field upgrade. This set of equipment is intended to save the player’s life so that they can continue the chain even after death. It seems to be for new players, as a way to get some higher killstreak rewards, but more capable players are exploiting it to constantly blast the map with powerful streaks. - Dead Drop field upgrade equipment.
- Enter a match and activate Dead Drop.
- Earn enough lives to reach your ultimate killstreak.
- Die and notice how you kill one in that final killing spree.
- Put death down again.
- Take one more kill to earn the ultimate killstreak.
- Repeat this process to earn unlimited killstreaks.
Players are following the steps above to get infinite killstreaks using the Dead Drop field upgrade. At the time of writing, developer Sledgehammer Games doesn’t appear to have acknowledged the issue. It is not yet known if a fix is being worked on.
With the breakdown of Vanguard Dead Drop, players can easily get Infinite Dogs, Local Informers, Firebirds, and other tall killers easily. It needs to be fixed for the benefit of other players.
