Burn down 100 huts in the slums of Karachi, southern Pakistan

According to Inayat Ullah, a senior official with the city’s central fire station, the fire broke out in homes along the Lyari River, under a bridge in central Karachi in the Teenhatti neighborhood. About 10 fire engines quickly arrived on the scene and extinguished the blaze after hours.
