The burger chain is temporarily raising the Whopper price back to 37 cents on Friday and Saturday (December 3 and December 4) to celebrate the 64th anniversary of the sandwich’s debut on the menu. The deep discount marked the 1957 price of a traditional-style grilled burger with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, ketchup, pickles, and onions, which normally costs around $4 today.

“In 1957, Burger King changed the game with the introduction of the Whopper sandwich – an iconic flame-grilled burger made your way (with 1,024 potential combinations to be exact) ,” wrote Zahra Nurani, head of marketing communications for Burger King North America, in a statement. “And now, 64 years later, we’re excited to celebrate our beloved burger by offering The Whopper at its original price of 37 cents exclusively to members of Royal Perks.”

However, the refund agreement is only available to Burger King Royal Perks members, and must be ordered online or on BK’s app.
