Bungie ‘investigating’ connection issues for Destiny players

Bungie is investigating a blocking issue Life and Fate 2 players log into the game, according to its support page, Bungie Help. Bungie acknowledged the issue at 10:47 a.m. CT today, and the developers have been looking for a solution ever since.

Bungie’s Latest updates at 2:12 p.m. CT said the company was “continuing to investigate” the issues and promised to keep players updated.

Status report website DownDetector was aware of a series of issues reported around the time that was officially announced by Bungie. Downdetector data shows that the situation is slowly improving as the day goes on, with reports of problems from Fate 2 players go down significantly over time. Although these outages affected thousands of players, many people were still able to access the game and its operations.
