What to know

The Miami Heat’s road trip will continue when they arrive at United Center at 8 p.m. ET Saturday to take on the Chicago Bulls. Chicago will move forward after a win while the Heat will stumble after a defeat.

Looks like Miami had a smaller half of the collarbone at Thanksgiving dinner. On Wednesday, they lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves on the road by a decisive 113-101. Protection point Tyler Herro not a difference-maker for Miami; Herro finished with 16 points in a shootout of 5-18 and turned the ball five times in 33 minutes of play.

Meanwhile, Chicago was simply unstoppable on Friday, when they easily beat the Orlando Magic on 123-88. The competition came all the way to the end of the third round, at which point Chicago had a 90-69 advantage. They got the win thanks to the support of some key players, and that’s the defense Zach LaVine out front get 21 points and five assists.

Barring any buzzer beaters, Heat was expected to win a tight contest. Now may not be the best time to put Miami against the spread as they have let bettors down for the past three games in a row.

Miami came up against Chicago when the two teams met earlier in April, with a score of 110-102. Can Miami avenge their loss, or will history repeat itself? We will find out soon.
