Fortnite World Cup 2019 winner Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf is finally getting his own set of icons, along with Ninja, Loserfruit, TheGrefg and Lachlan in this select group.

Epic Games previously fused pop culture with the virtual world of Fortnite in the form of costumes for Batman, Avengers, and John Wick. This time, the company is paying tribute to the only Fortnite World Cup winner Bugha with a brand new skin.

Fortnite’s competitive scene may not be as fiery as it once was, but Epic Games hasn’t forgotten the legends that laid the foundation. The company announced the Icon series for Bugha, who became the first Fortnite World Cup singles champion in 2019, winning $3 million at the age of 16. Pro players don’t stop there. Bugha continues to dominate the competitive Fortnite landscape, becoming an icon for many.

Following Bugha’s win at Fortnite’s greatest platformer, Epic Games introduced a couple of iconic series, starting with Ninja’s upbeat outfit. Celebrities and content creators are also honored with the title of legendary “icon”. However, fans eagerly await Bugha to finally make the cut.

Epic Games listened to the community and introduced a new competitive LTM along with Bugha skins and cosmetics. Players will be able to pick up the Ninja skin in the Fortnite store starting Thursday, January 16.

The cosmetic set will be available in three different variations, default, elite style and World Cup. This final outfit will include the Fortnite World Cup trophy and his beloved pug Zoey inside. The pack will also include the Bugha Blades Pickaxe and the Bring It Around emoji, the dance move that Bugha perfectly performed at the World Cup. All cosmetics are a nod to Bugha’s look towards the Fortnite WorldCup.
