Pokemon GO‘s Bug Out event runs from Wednesday, August 10th at 10:00 local time to Tuesday, August 16th at 20:00 local time. During this timeframe, players can work on event-exclusive Field Research tasks, and there are twelve of them in total. Before we get into the specifics of bug out field research, a few words on how exactly field research tasks are obtained Pokemon GO can be helpful. Quite simply, players can earn these tasks by spinning the Photo Discs at the PokeStops they are near. As such, players interested in earning some of the rewards listed below should make some time to visit PokeStops throughout the course of the event.

As players read this list, they may notice that there is a certain emphasis on making nice, great, and excellent shots. This works quite well with some of the event’s bonuses, which award additional XP and Candy for catching Pokemon using these types of Throws. There’s also an increased chance of earning Candy XL by catching Pokemon with Nice, Great, and Excellent throws along the way POGO‘s Bug Out event, provided the player is above level 30.

In terms of the rewards players can earn by engaging in this event-exclusive Field Research, it’s not surprising that they’re all Bug-type Pokémon encounters. Notably, the majority of these Pokémon can appear as Shinies, with the exceptions being Sewaddle, Silcoon, Cascoon, Dewpider, Wimpod, and Grubbin. It’s also worth noting that Grubbin will make its debut as part of the Bug Out event and Pokemon GO Fans can be happy to know that they can earn this Pokémon through field research.
