BTS clip ‘Shang-Chi’ reveals the muse for the furry creature Morris

Fan Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings maybe know what it means to want to cuddle Morris. That’s because Morris is the name of the mythical creature named Dijiang from the magical realm of Evil.
According to his owner, Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery.
The creature is affectionately known as the Chicken-Pig by Katy Chen of Awkwafina, but all that aside, the little shuttlecock still nestles in our hearts.
As you learn from director Destin Daniel Cretton about who Morris has been based on, you’ll understand why the creature exudes legitimate likability, despite having no face.
“Morris is also the name of our family dog,” Cretton explained in a new behind-the-scenes clip released by Marvel on Twitter on Thursday. “He’s a dachshund.”
It certainly makes sense that the fictional Morris is based on this chubby-legged dog based solely on the beach run fascination the director shared of his dog in the clip.
“So Morris’ spirit was definitely inspired by my Morris, whom I hold dear. He moves a lot like Morris and sounds a lot like Morris.
You can catch Shang-Chi on Disney Plus right now, or look for Blu-Ray for tons of special features, such as the deleted scene where Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi discovers he has fosterbrother.
