Brooks Kriske ties unfortunate MLB mark

Every baseball player dreams of making history at some point in their career. These historic accomplishments are always positive, setting records for hits or hits, and continue to help your team to fame. While Yankees New York relief Brooks to Chris Thursday night made history, it wasn’t the kind of history he wanted.

The task of keeping the Yankee leader at the end of last night’s tenth session did not suit Criske. In fact, he didn’t actually have the task of finding a home plate, as he broke the regular season record by opening four wild pitches.

While it should be noted that Rick Ankiel when he appeared in 2000 the NLDS sank five wild lines. However, this is a constant mark of the season and a sign that Criske certainly didn’t want to put it down.

This kind of savagery is not typical for Criske in terms of the smallest numbers in his league. He had 16 wild pitches and a 3.6 BB / 9 level in just 124.1 minutes of his minor league career. However, those numbers were worse when working in specialties, as he has seven wild pitches and a level of 8.7 BB / 9 at just 10.1 innings.

Obviously, majors and minors are different animals. The pressure is radically different at the top league level. Criske was also tasked with trying to make it his first major league career. While he recorded 20 tackles in the junior season, this first attempt to save against the Red Sox rival proved that the task was daunting.

Hopefully, Chriske can put this journey behind him. Friends should have short memories, whether they are successful on their journeys or not. Staying on that disastrous walk makes it worse, especially when he tries to keep the ball on the plate instead of just tearing his pitch.
