ComingSoon is happy to debut a Broadcast Sign Intrusion clip from the movie earlier than it releases October 22 in theaters and on digital. Directed by Jacob Gentry from a script by Phil Drinkwater and Tim Woodall, the movie stars Harry Shum Jr. (Loopy Wealthy Asians), Kelley Mack (The Strolling Useless), and Chris Sullivan (Stranger Issues).
“Whereas logging tapes of decades-old TV broadcasts, video archivist James (Harry Shum Jr.) discovers a surreal and disturbing clip that James believes is the product of a mysterious broadcast sign hacking,” says the official synopsis. “His discovery takes a sinister flip when he tracks down related broadcast intrusions that ship him on an obsessive mission. Now James should confront two very actual potentialities: that the movies could also be clues to a criminal offense past all comprehension; and that whoever was behind them could also be very conscious that James is coming uncomfortably near the reality.”
