“Whereas logging tapes of decades-old TV broadcasts, video archivist James (Harry Shum Jr.) discovers a surreal and disturbing clip that James believes is the product of a mysterious broadcast sign hacking,” says the official synopsis. “His discovery takes a sinister flip when he tracks down related broadcast intrusions that ship him on an obsessive mission. Now James should confront two very actual potentialities: that the movies could also be clues to a criminal offense past all comprehension; and that whoever was behind them could also be very conscious that James is coming uncomfortably near the reality.”
