Reportedly, the 40-year-old pop icon will write a memoir recounting her life, career and family. Britney Spears made a landmark deal with publisher Simon & Schuster, is signing a book deal said to be worth $15 million. According to Page Six, she reached the agreement after multiple publishers engaged in a bidding war for her book, making the deal,
“One of the greatest works of all time, after the Obamas.”
Barack and Michelle Obama sold the rights to their memoir in 2017 for a reported advance of $65 million.

News about Britney’s The deal comes after the release of a controversial memoir published by Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn Spears, 30,titled, ‘Things I Should Say’. Lynn’s memoir, released in January, features shocking claims about the pop star. Jamie Lynn testified that her sister once locked them both in a room with a knife in her hand, and described her behavior as “Capricious, paranoid and spiraling.” Britney publicly stoned her sister, calling her a “Scum man”.
In a since deleted Instagram Parcel, Britney has this to say about her sister’s memoir,
“Congratulations on the best seller… ..Do you want to sell a book now and talk but your king of lies… .. I wish you would take a lie detector test to all these people see you are lying through your teeth about me!!!! I wish the almighty God could come down and show this whole world that you are lying and making money from me!!!! You’re scum, Jamie Lynn. ”
