BREAKING: NSA Admits to Unmasking Fox News’ Tucker Carlson

According to a new report released Friday, the Biden administration has revealed the identity of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

This is just the latest attack by the Biden administration on freedom of speech and privacy in the US.

During the run of Carlson’s show, host Mark Steyn denounced the Biden administration’s move, saying, “We told you that the National Security Agency was monitoring this show and Tucker’s email content. According to a media outlet called The Record, the NSA has just completed an internal review of the matter. The NSA now admits that it revealed Tucker’s identity following an intelligence interception.

“By law, the identities of American citizens are concealed when they are arrested in the course of gathering foreign intelligence,” Steyn continued. “They can only be disclosed under special circumstances.”

Check out what The Record has reported:

… The nation’s top electronic espionage agency discovered that Carlson was mentioned in communications between third parties and his name was later revealed through “unmasking.” , a process by which relevant government officials may request disclosure of the identity of US citizens in intelligence reports as an official reason, such as helping them understand intelligence documents that they are considering.

In a statement, Fox News countered: “The NSA’s exposure of Tucker Carlson or any journalist attempting to secure a credible interview is completely unacceptable and raises serious questions. information about their activities, as well as their initial denial, which was very misleading.”

MARK STEYN, FOX NEWS HOST: We told you that the National Security Agency was monitoring this program and the content of Tucker’s email. According to a media outlet called The Record, the NSA has just completed an internal review of the matter. The NSA now admits that it revealed Tucker’s identity after an intelligence intercept. By law, the identities of US citizens are concealed when they are caught in the process of collecting foreign intelligence. They can only be disclosed under special circumstances. Fox News just released this statement: “The NSA’s unmasking of Tucker Carlson or any journalist attempting to secure a credible interview is completely unacceptable and raises serious questions about Their activities, as well as their initial denial, are hugely misleading.” We are always delighted to meet Harmeet Dhillon, when it comes to matters like this. Harmeet, what do you think about the NSA revising its story?

HARMEET DHILLON, LAW: I didn’t buy it. I think what they are saying now doesn’t match what they said before. And it also doesn’t match the truth as Tucker revealed. For example, on a couple of nights, Tucker said on his show that a source in the government had come to him and read some of Tucker’s texts and messages. And so, what the government is said to be saying today is the disclosure that happened regarding third parties talking to each other about Tucker Carlson. Okay, that doesn’t sit well with them blocking Tucker Carlson. Second, only a handful of people in the US government have the ability and right to unmask everyone. And that right was widely abused during the late Obama administration [in] 2016. And I’m afraid it’s being abused right now. And so this raises more questions than it answers. And I think we really need to look at the abuse in the national security community on these kinds of issues, and no American journalist should be examined in this way. And finally, these types of communications are never disclosed to the media. Axios already has these communications. So they didn’t answer that. How did that happen?
