Brawlhalla Announces Street Fighter Crossover

Blue Mammoth Games’ latest tie-up with Brawlhalla sees three of Capcom’s Street Fighter characters being added to the roster.

Another crossover coming Brawlhalla, a free-to-play platformer fighting game that has had a lot of cooperation. NS Super Smash Bros.-like boxer has a pretty dedicated fan base, complete with a thriving community that hosts tournaments, with the chance to win some sizable prizes. NS Brawlhalla The roster boasts more than 50 characters with an incredibly diverse range of moves, some of which are some recognizable game icons. As mentioned before, Brawlhalla is no stranger to crossovers with many intellectual properties. Some of the most recent additions to Brawlhalla consists of characters from AMC’s Zombie, Dreamworks’ Kung-Fu Panda franchise and even Ben 10. With matches like ZombieRick Grimes and Negan take on Rayman and Kung Fu PandaPo’s, the sky is the limit for what characters are added next.

The latest trailer is done in cartoon-anime style, with BrawlhallaPetra sees a new approach to challenge in the opening shot. Her opponent is the wandering warrior, Ryu, who is sculpted in a similar style. His playstyle shows off some of his signature moves from Street fighter adapt Brawlhalla, including the overhead barber Shoryuken, the spinning Tatsumaki Senpukyaku kick, and even the Hadouken.

The second character shown is Chun-Li, complete with her signature Spinning Bird Kick and Kikoken bullets. She also seems to be using a cane in Brawlhalla also. The last character added through this collaboration is Street fighterVillain Akuma. His set of moves includes using Satsui No Hado to perform some dark techniques, such as Metsu Hadoken and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku. He even retained his iconic Raging Demon attack in this game.

NS Street fighter intersect in Brawlhalla also includes “Street Brawl”, a brand new game mode. This needs Brawlhalla stay away from it Super Smash Bros.-inspired platform traps to more Street fighterTraditional 2D’s gameplay. This includes the two health bars at the top of the screen and a certain number of wins that need to be achieved to fully win the match. A brand new level based on the Suzaku Castle arena from Street fighter will also be added to the game through this partnership and will be available to play starting November 22.

Brawlhalla available on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
