Brandon Routh considered making a superhero series coming to the Kingdom


Brandon Routh just made a big comeback with Arrowverse Ray Palmer / the Atom last night The Flash season eight is out, which kicks off the big crossover event “Armageddon”. Fans love seeing him reprise his role in Legends of Tomorrow, but there’s always been a lot of interest in Routh returning to his original DC character. None other than Superman himself, who is Scott Pilgrim the star first played in 2006 Superman reappears.

Faced with all the odds, Routh ended up having to wear a cape and tights again years later during 2019/20’s “Crisis on Infinite Earths.” He played with the same Superman, but this time given Kingdom Come– twist type. Sporting a redesigned suit and a gray streak, Routh’s Supes is now Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Planet and has lost Lois. However, she is most likely still alive in the rebooted Post-Crisis timeline.

So can we see more from Superman Earth-95? While chatting with ComicBook.com, Routh revealed that he’s “absolutely” looking to revisit a third season “because the story is the right story and Superman is portrayed the way I see Superman. I’ve always been interested in that. ” He went on to add that he was actually considering creating a KC Superman himself presents a reality. That said, he knows there’s no end to projects featuring Kal-El in the works at WB Towers, so he’s not sure a vehicle for him is a priority.

“I did my own investigations into the possibility of something similar,” Routh revealed. “Right now, the truth is we’re overflowing with Superman stuff, with the success of Superman & Lois – and Tyler is doing a great job on that – and then there’s a couple of scripts and stuff around the features, I think, in the various iterations at Warner Bros. ”

Routh got to share the screen with his co-star Krypton’s Last Son Tyler Hoechlin in “Crisis”, also Smallvilleby Tom Welling. As Routh alludes to in his comments above, a Men of Steel multiverse is about to hit the screens. As well as potential more version of Henry Cavill, JJ Abrams is doing His Black Superman Restarts while Michael B. Jordan was working on a series of Val-Zod HBO Max.
