Bottega Veneta continues to pursue New York’s most discerning shoppers. Following a pop-up store this summer in Brooklyn’s trendy Williamsburg neighborhood, the brand today opened one in SoHo.

A rep said the store had been in the concept phase since November 2020, before the sudden departure last month of creative director Daniel Lee. . ”
The space includes custom-made furniture and fixtures for the SoHo venue, such as Turkish woven rugs installed in the fitting room, leather furniture made for the VIP area, stone floors and special plastic.
Bottega has collaborated with local artists and craftspeople on this space, including wooden elements made by Brooklyn woodworking workshop Vonnegut/Kraft – their work extends to display furniture shoes, door handles and signage.
The Italian label continues on a new, more trendy trajectory – currently under the recently appointed creative director Matthieu Blazy, who replaced Lee shortly after he left.
