Book a Sail or Swim in the Midgard Tribe Part 2: Serpent Saga Coming Dec 14

Midgard Tribe Coming out Part 2: Serpent Saga on December 14th. This big free update change the world itself, with the addition of the Open Seas biome, more sailing and swimming, a new Saga boss, and other challenges. For those who feel festive, it also ushers in the Yulidays event.

The Open Seas biome is a big change as it adds swimming and boating capabilities, as well as providing new terrain to explore. Your Vikings will be able to build boats in the shipyard. If your boat gets hit too much or if you haven’t built it yet, you can swim. Swimming is limited by your stamina, so it’s mostly good for shorter distances. However, these new options expand the scope of the game.

With the update all worlds will be reset so you’ll have to rebuild your Shipyard, but when you do, you’ll be able to use resources to build boats. Your basic shipyard can be used to build smaller, thinner but faster boats with less resources. As you level up your shipyard, you’ll have many choices to make. You will be able to build larger, more durable boats, with more HP and capacity, but at a higher resource cost.

You can also explore the Open Sea while sailing around the coast of Midgard, discovering uncharted islands. There are new enemies, new merchants, and new Signal Camps. Of course the ability to explore the Open Sea also comes with challenges, just like a new Saga boss.

The new boss is a mysterious person and beasts inspired by myths. You’ll have to paddle to find its lair, and for this you’ll have to take advantage of all the shipbuilding, learn how to sail, and engage in full exploration.

Yulidays will be back from December 14 to January 3 and comes with carnival rewards, themed challenges, a chance to unlock new pets, cosmetics, etc.
