Boba Fett’s Book of Photos Offers a New Look at Fennec Shand
New photos from The Book of Boba Fett show the Bounty Hunter and Fennec Shand getting ready to take over the underworld in the Star Wars franchise.
Books by Boba Fett Less than a month to go until Disney Plus and now new photos from Star Wars series has been announced. These images give fans a glimpse into the partnership between Boba Fett and Fennec Shad.
After being left to die after a confrontation with MandalorianDin Djarin, Fennec Shand was saved by Boba Fett, who similarly survived Sarlacc’s near-impossibility in his jaws. Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. After confronting and then assisting Djarin, Fett and Shand were last seen in Mandalorian post-credits scene of season 2 finale, where they took control of the palace of the late Jabba the Hutt.
The newly released images show both Boba Fett and Fennec Shand in various locations around Tatooine. Their main goal is to take over a part of the criminal underworld once owned by Jabba the Hutt. This will be a return for the bounty hunter, as this is also the planet he nearly encountered at the end of his life. Both characters ‘return’ from the dead and can work together, meeting in the middle to discover they have common interests.
Friendship introduced in Mandalorian, but it will be added in the upcoming Boba Fett series. Actor Ming-Na Wen of Fennec Shand spoke to The Direct about the upcoming show and said, “Well, there’s a collaboration between the two of them [Fennec and Boba Fett], sure. They are bound together by the fact that both have lived through near-death experiences. And there is a rule that both of them follow. “None of the characters are considered golden role models, but they’re not evil either.”[It’s] They’re not the bad guys. They’re not that good either. We are anti-heroes. I love playing the role of an anti-hero. You get more, I think “Ming-Na Wen speak. The interesting thing about the characters is that they are self-serving, they focus on their goals and nothing else gets in the way.
They don’t want to take over the galaxy, they don’t want to fight the empire or the Sith. All they want to do is take advantage of what they can for themselves and stay out of the limelight. They take the cards they’ve been dealt and make sure to get the best out of it, which in storytelling always makes for an interesting character.
Characters with a complicated moral sense or those who don’t follow the law are people that fans usually attract. Fans see them as an escape, as in society many cannot escape living the fictional lives of these characters. Boba Fett hope to provide so it can have a second part.
