Blow Stuff Up In This Week’s Free EGS Games

This week, on EGS freeware, it’s time to fight. Whether you want to be in the middle of it all as an infantryman in World War I or you want to handle strategy and let AI do it all Fighting for you, there is something for you. This week’s first free offer is FPS from developers M2H and Blackmill Games. WWI Verdun: Western Front takes players to the front lines on the Western Front of World War I from 1914 to 1918. In addition to a real-world setting, it also offers five different game modes. (It’s also obviously nice graphics based on the game’s description. So if that’s not your thing…)

At the other end of the pew pew spectrum, we have Defense Grid: The Awakening. As the title indicates, this is a tower defense game – developed and published by Hidden Path Entertainment. It is designed for players of all skill levels and… well… does what a tower defense game does. You build towers to hopefully stop countless enemies from coming your way.

Overall, if you download both games, you’ll save about $30. It’s not a huge volume, but…hey… more games for your library and all. | Blow Stuff Up In This Week’s Free EGS Games
