A Black lady says she felt focused due to her race by a police officer who tried to sort out her as she was strolling her canine in a Chicago park.
In an interview with Good Morning America on Thursday, Nikkita Brown described how a white cop drove up subsequent to her whereas she was strolling within the Lincoln Park neighborhood on Aug. 28 and informed her that she wanted to depart.
Brown stated she then started heading for the exit, however the officer continued to harass her, trailing behind her as she left the park. In the meantime, she stated she observed that white people within the park hadn’t been confronted by police and requested to depart.
