As fans were waiting for the next game to appear in the franchise, a surprise announcement came in 2019 when the developers announced that a sequel was in the works. Although a release date has not been announced and it is said that it will be in development for several years, fans are growing impatient with the game.
Bioshock 4 ‘Isolation’ Game Award Announcement Delayed: Report
Today, a new leak has surfaced regarding the upcoming game. Firstly, our sources have stated that next Bioshock the game will be called Bioshock 4 Isolation. This has previously been suggested by several rumors, and it has also been corroborated by various independent sources.
Now coming to the leak itself, this comes from Kyle Borchert and it says that the game is set in 1960’s Antarctica in a city called Borealis. The internal codename is Parkside, but it will likely be called Isolation. The game is connected to the previous three games.
Finally, the leak says that the game was originally supposed to be revealed at The Game Awards, but now it will be released and revealed both in the second half of 2022. Additionally, the sources reveal that the game was restarted at some point, so could be one of the reasons for the delay.
