Big Daddy Kane sorry for the incident that upset some fans.

Legendary rap pioneer Big Daddy Kane took to Instagram to apologize for pushing an interpreter off stage during a concert. He explained that the incident was a huge misunderstanding.

“So I know a lot of people out there have seen this… but look, what you guys don’t see is this…”

The rapper first inserted a clip showing him trying to get the man off stage in the middle of a performance. He then shows a clip that takes place after he signals the interpreter to leave.

“Guys, I’ve done a lot of crazy things in my life. But I would never try to disrespect an interpreter doing sign language for the deaf community on stage. ”

Big Daddy Kane continue:

“No one told me what was going on. No one told my manager that an interpreter would be available. We don’t know anything. So when I go on stage and see someone just reading the lyrics, you know, I try to get them off the stage. ”

He added:

“But no one showed me a clip of me apologizing to the senior and allowing him to stay on stage and end the show. No one showed the clip I apologize to the crowd because like I said on the clip, I want everyone to enjoy the show, and that means even those who can’t hear it.”

He concluded:

“Very respectful of the deaf community. I will never disrespect you. And enjoyed that interpreter. Again, I’m sorry, my brother.”
