Biden’s promises of racial equity in federal health programs are hindered by poor data, fragmented programs, GAO finds

There are racial and ethnic information gaps for coronavirus testing charges, circumstances, hospitalizations, deaths and vaccinations, GAO’s paper discovered. The gaps are enormous. “Race and ethnicity data despatched to CDC was incomplete for nearly half of reported COVID-19 circumstances (47.2 %) and for individuals who obtained a minimum of one vaccination dose (46.7 %),” GAO mentioned in March.
